After the successful release of Musas Vol. 1 and Natalia Lafourcade's contribution to the Disney Pixar hit film Coco, Lafourcade continued the Musas project where the cultural heritage of Latin American folk music is centralized. A follow-up was more than welcome, fans and critics received Musas Vol. 2 with loving words. This time the album was not only nominated for the Latin Grammys, but also for the international Grammy Awards. Musas Vol. 2 was maybe the last part of this series, but it was the start and introduction for many fans in this new wave of Latin American folk music and cemented Natalia Lafourcade even more as a household name for folk fans all over the world. Musas Vol. 2 is available as a limited edition of 2000 individually numbered copies on orange coloured vinyl.
