Return and Exchange Policy

Thank you for shopping with us! We hope you love your order.

All sales are final.

We only accept returns, exchanges, or store credit in cases involving:

  • Manufacturer defects
  • Incorrect items sent
  • Significant shipping damage

All requests must be made within 14 days of delivery.

CANCELLATIONS

Due to increasing payment processing fees and labor costs, cancelled orders and pre-orders are subject to a 5% cancellation/restocking fee.

The 5% fee applies to the full order total, including shipping, taxes, and any additional fees.

If Del Bravo Record Shop is unable to fulfill your order, a full refund will be issued.

DEFECTIVE ITEMS

If your vinyl, CD, cassette, or DVD has a manufacturer defect, please contact us within 14 days of delivery at:

Examples of manufacturer defects may include:

  • Non-playing records or discs
  • Skipping caused by manufacturing issues
  • Warped records
  • Incorrect media inside packaging
  • Damaged or defective cassettes

Depending on availability and order type, we may offer:

  • A replacement item
  • Store credit
  • A refund for the defective item

Domestic U.S. Orders

For domestic U.S. orders with manufacturer defects, we may refund the item and original shipping cost or offer a replacement item if available.

International Orders

Due to high international shipping costs, refunds or store credit for manufacturer defects on international orders apply to the defective merchandise only and do not include original shipping charges.

If available, we may also offer a replacement item.

Return Labels for Defective Items

We only provide FREE return labels for defective items.

For exchanges involving defective merchandise, replacement items will be shipped once the original item has been returned and received.

SHIPPING DAMAGE & LOST PACKAGES

Del Bravo Record Shop takes pride in how all orders are packed and shipped.

If your package arrives with significant shipping damage, please email photos of:

  • The packaging
  • The shipping label
  • The damaged item(s)

Examples of shipping damage may include:

  • Broken records or CDs
  • Extensive jacket damage
  • Major seam splits
  • Cracked cases

Please allow a few days while we work with the shipping carrier to resolve the issue.

Economy Shipping / Media Mail

Economy shipping ships via USPS Media Mail and does not include insurance.

While we package all orders carefully, slight cosmetic wear during transit may occur and may not qualify for replacement or return.

Examples include:

  • Minor corner dings
  • Slight seam splits
  • Light shelf wear

If condition is extremely important to you, we recommend shopping in person whenever possible.

Lost or Stolen Packages

If your package is marked delivered but cannot be located, please contact your local post office or carrier first.

If they are unable to assist, please contact us.

Please note:

  • Media Mail shipments are not insured
  • We are not responsible for packages lost or stolen after delivery

RETURNS, EXCHANGES & STORE CREDIT

Returns, exchanges, or store credit are only available for eligible defective merchandise.

We do not offer cash refunds for opened or defective items.

Refunds, store credit, or exchanges do not include shipping costs unless otherwise stated in the defective item policy above.

Customers are responsible for return shipping costs on non-defective merchandise.

All returned items must:

  • Be in original packaging
  • Be in original condition
  • Show no signs of misuse
  • Be approved by Del Bravo Record Shop staff upon inspection

REFUNDS & STORE CREDIT

Approved refunds are issued back to the original payment method.

If the original payment method is unavailable, store credit will be issued instead.

Shipping and handling charges are non-refundable unless specifically stated otherwise in this policy.

NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items are FINAL SALE and non-returnable:

  • Used vinyl
  • Clearance items
  • Opened CDs or DVDs
  • Opened or sealed cassettes
  • Accessories
  • Tote bags
  • Aprons
  • Sale items

PRE-ORDERS

Due to ongoing vinyl production delays and distributor limitations, pre-orders are not guaranteed until confirmed by labels or distributors.

In some cases, confirmation may take several weeks after your order is placed.

If we are unable to fulfill your pre-order, a full refund will be issued.

If you choose to cancel a pre-order, a 5% cancellation fee will apply.
