We Buy Vinyl

Sell Your Records to Del Bravo Record Shop

At Del Bravo Record Shop, we’re always looking to expand our inventory with great vinyl in good condition. If you’re looking to sell your records, here’s everything you need to know about our buying process, what we’re looking for, and how you can get started.

What We’re Looking For

  • Vinyl Records: We’re interested in a wide range of genres, including:
    • Rock, soul, jazz, conjunto, tejano, and select country.
    • Country artists like Johnny Cash, Merle Haggard, George Jones, and Waylon Jennings.
  • CDs: We’re only buying sealed conjunto/tejano CDs.

What We’re Not Buying

  • Most easy-listening titles.
  • Older country music from the 1970s and 1980s (excluding Cash, Haggard, Jones, and Jennings).
  • 78 RPM records, most 45s, or cassettes.
  • Vinyl albums with deep scratches, scuffs, water damage, animal-chewed covers, or generally ragged conditions.
  • Moldy or damaged records.

How It Works

  1. Drop-Offs:
    • For collections of 50+ records, drop them off at our store. We’ll take your name, contact information, and a signed form noting the number of records dropped off.
    • Allow us up to one week to review and make an offer. If we can respond sooner, we will!
  2. On-the-Spot Purchases:
    • For smaller collections, call ahead to see if we can evaluate your records on the spot.
  3. Large Collections:
    • For collections of 500+ records, we can arrange to visit you. While we generally stay within the Dallas/Fort Worth area, we’re open to discussing arrangements for exceptional collections.

Payment

We typically pay in cash after both parties agree on a price.

What If Your Records Don’t Fit Our Needs?

If you have records that don’t meet our buying criteria, we’re happy to accept them for our FREE CART, where they can find a new home with someone who will appreciate them.

Q: Do you buy all country music?
