Songs For Groovy Children: The Fillmore East Concerts presents highlights from the historic debut concerts by Jimi Hendrix's newly assembled Band of Gypsys (Jimi Hendrix, Billy Cox, Buddy Miles) at New York's Fillmore East on New Years Eve 1969 and New Years Day 1970. Measured alongside his triumphs at Monterey Pop and Woodstock, Hendrix's legendary Fillmore East concerts illustrated a critical turning point in a radiant career filled with indefinite possibilities. Mastered by Grammy-winning engineer Bernie Grundman, these recordings were drawn from the 2019 boxset collection which presented each of the four legendary performances.   This special edition is being released on blue and violet swirl vinyl.
