1990 年代のグランジ時代の先駆けとなったニルヴァーナのヒットアルバム「ネヴァーマインド」のビニール盤。ネヴァーマインドは、アメリカのロックバンド、ニルヴァーナの 2 枚目のスタジオアルバムで、1991 年 9 月 24 日にリリースされました。ブッチ・ヴィグがプロデュースしたネヴァーマインドは、DGC レコードからリリースされた同バンド初の作品です。フロントマンのカート・コバーンは、シアトルのグランジシーンの制約の枠を超えた音楽作りを目指し、ピクシーズなどのグループや、彼らの「大音量/静音」のダイナミクスの使用法から影響を受けました。
これはドラマーのデイヴ・グロールをフィーチャーした最初のアルバムである。バンドとレコード会社による商業的期待は低かったが、ネヴァーマインドは1991年後半に予想外の成功を収めた。これは主に最初のシングル「スメルズ・ライク・ティーン・スピリット」の人気によるものである。1992年1月までに、ビルボード200チャートでマイケル・ジャクソンのアルバム「デンジャラス」を抜いて1位になった。このアルバムからは、「カム・アズ・ユー・アー」、「リチウム」、「イン・ブルーム」という3つのヒットシングルも生まれた。アメリカレコード協会はアルバムをダイヤモンド認定し（出荷枚数1000万枚以上）、アルバムは世界中で3000万枚以上を売り上げた。ネヴァーマインドはオルタナティブロックを多くの主流の聴衆に広めた一因となり、ローリングストーンやタイムなどの出版物による史上最高のアルバムのリストで上位にランクされている。

More info: It is their first album to feature drummer Dave Grohl. Despite low commercial expectations by the band and its record label, Nevermind became a surprise success in late 1991, largely due to the popularity of its first single, "Smells Like Teen Spirit". By January 1992, it had replaced Michael Jackson's album Dangerous at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album also produced three other successful singles: "Come as You Are", "Lithium", and "In Bloom". The Recording Industry Association of America has certified the album Diamond (over 10 million copies shipped), and the album has sold over 30 million copies worldwide. Nevermind was in part responsible for bringing alternative rock to a large mainstream audience, and has been ranked highly on lists of the greatest albums of all time by publications such as Rolling Stone and Time.
