If you want a pretentious San Antonio record store where the staff is too cool to say hi and don’t offer you help, I got you. (It’s close to SAC…) BUT, if you wanna visit a record store where they welcome you as family and are so sweet come here to Del Bravo. It’s historic and beautiful with a great selection of vintage music and new stuff. Want some old mariachi? Classic metal? New hip hop? They got it. But what they have here that’s missing in a lot of places: a genuine smile and an attitude where they actually want to help you. I’ll drive across town to come here from now on. It’s been open for almost 60 years for a reason!

It’s rare these days to find a family owned shop who’s withstood the test of time… and that should show not only the quality in their products but also a testament to who they are as a business. A shoutout to Javier and his sister for not only making us feel welcomed but playing the best jams. Lots of varieties of cds, vinyls, cassette tapes from all genres. This place deserves all its flowers.

Literally the best record shop in San Antonio. Everything is very nicely priced, the lady at the front is super sweet and they carry all sorts of music old and new, popular and unpopular. They also carry cassette players and different types of record players. Overall just a great experience. Once i get my paycheck I’ll definitely be coming back !
