Jenni Rivera, also known as "La Diva de la Banda", began recording in 1992. Less than ten years later, Jenni's album topped Billboard's Top Latin Albums chart. She was also the very first artist to sell out two consecutive nights at the Nokia theatre in Los Angeles. In December of 2012, Jenni was killed in a plane crash. Millions mourned her death.
