Starting as a young man playing in parties and to small groups in his native Texas, the gifted musician began to create a unique style that truly revolutionized accordion music.
Valerio Longoria is credited with many innovations within the genre including being one of the first musicians to perform standing up with straps on, as well as incorporating singing with his music where previously it had all been instrumental.
Directed by critically acclaimed filmmaker Hector Galan, Valerio Longoria, Legacy of a Maestro pays homage to his musical genius by including many performances and his story in his own words.
