Return and Exchange Policy
Thank you for shopping with us! We hope you love your order. All sales are final, but if an item is defective we accept returns for store credit only or exchanged for the same item (if available.
Cancelations
Due to an increasing number of payment processors no longer returning transaction fees to sellers on cancelled orders and rising labor costs, any orders or pre-orders that need to be cancelled before shipment will be assessed a 5% cancellation/restocking fee on the order total including shipping and any other taxes or fees associated with the order.
Defective Items
If the item purchased has a manufacturer defect (the cassette, CD disc, DVD disc, Vinyl disc), we can replace the item or issue a refund for the item and shipping cost. Del Bravo Record Shop will coordinate and send additional information directly to the customer in the case of a non-working, damaged, or otherwise incorrect product. We must be contacted within 14 days of the order delivery date.

Returns are issued to the original payment method. If the original payment method is no longer available, customers will be refunded in the form of store credit to their web account.
We only offer a FREE RETURN LABEL on returns that are defective.
In cases of exchanges for defects in the original product, we will send the replacement piece(s) once we have received the original returned item. There will not be a shipping charge for this exchange.
Pre orders:
Due to the ever-increasing complications of the vinyl industry, Del Bravo Record Shop cannot guarantee each order placed until after confirmation is made with labels and distributors, which may occur up to a few weeks after your order is placed. Placing a special order with us usually means we'll be able to get exactly what you're after, but production delays and other complications may prevent us from obtaining your order. A full refund will be made if we are unable to fulfill your order. In the event you decide to cancel your order, a 5% fee will be applied.
Shipping Damages or Lost in Transit
Del Bravo Record Shop takes pride in all of the orders we send out. If, in shipping, there is significant damage to the box that causes the item to be drastically different from the state it was described as, we will gladly file a claim with the shipping company used - if applicable. Economy shipping option ships Media Mail with no insurance.
Examples of this type of damage are: broken records/CDs, warped records, and extensive damage to album cover. Please be aware that no matter how well we package your order, there may be a bit of wear during the travel. These may include: slightly smooshed record cover corners, or slight seam splits. While we try extremely hard to pack your order so this doesn’t happen, once it’s out of our hands, we have no control over the care that is taken along the way.
Please send photos of damaged packages to shop@delbravorecordshop.com. We will then contact the mailing service to file a claim-if applicable. Please give a few days to solve the issues.
If you are worried about any potential small cosmetic problems, you may be best buying your records from a local indie record shop. That way, you can view the condition in person and know that you are in control of its safety.
Please keep in mind that if there is an wear on the the sleeves or damage to cases caused by shipping- we may not be able to exchange it or accept a return.
In the case that the package is lost or stolen in transit or for items lost or stolen once delivered by any carrier, we ask you to call your local post service first!! Then contact us if they do not have an answer. We do not add insurance with Media Mail shipments. Standard shipping is typically sent by Ground Advantage.
Other Inquiries
For store credit or exchanges of any orders, Del Bravo Record Shop must be contacted within 14 days of the delivery date to initiate the process. Online orders or in store purchases may be returned for store credit only if there s manufacture defect. Items must be in original condition and packaging and are subject to inspection by Del Bravo Record Shop staff before store credit is applied.
We do not offer cash for opened or defective items. We do not cover return shipping costs for unwanted merchandise, nor do we refund or exchange shipping costs for the original shipment.
Upon receipt of the returned item, we will examine it and notify you via email, within a reasonable period of time, whether or not you are entitled to a return. To follow up on the return, please contact us shop@delbravorecordshop.com
Refunds, store credit, or exchanges do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by the customer. You are responsible for any loss or damage to hardware during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
- All items must be in original condition and show no signs of use, and must be returned in original vendor packaging.
- Used VINYL is not returnable under any circumstances.
- All clearance sales are FINAL!
- Opened or sealed cassettes are not returnable.
- Opened, AS IS, used and clearance CD's or DVDs are final sale and are not returnable.
- To be eligible for a exchange or store credit, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
