More than 50 years after it's original release, Willie Colon's Asalto Navideno album, featuring Hector Lavoe on vocals and Yomo Toro on cuatro guitar, is still considered the top Latin holiday album. Named one of the "50 Greatest Salsa Albums of All Time" by Rolling Stone in 2024, the set is filled with joyful tunes like "La Murga," "Aires de Navidad" and the ever-popular medley "Popurr? Navideno." This reissue features all-analog mastering from the original tapes and is pressed on 180-gram vinyl.
