sombr - I Barely Know Her (Vinyl) (Indie Exclusive Ruby Red)

A New York native raised on the Lower East Side, 20-year-old singer, songwriter, and producer sombr (born Shane Boose) began making music in his bedroom while studying classical composition at LaGuardia High School. After breaking through with 2022’s viral hit “caroline,” he’s quickly become one of music’s fastest-rising stars—amassing over 50 million monthly Spotify listeners, selling out shows worldwide, and making his late-night debut on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Now based in Los Angeles and signed to Warner Records, the MTV VMA Best New Artist nominee is set to release his highly anticipated debut album I Barely Know Her on August 22, written entirely by sombr and co-produced with Tony Berg (Phoebe Bridgers, Boygenius). With over 2 billion career streams, a record-breaking #1 at Alternative Radio, and chart-topping singles “back to friends,” “undressed,” and “12 to 12,” sombr continues to captivate a global audience with his intimate, self-written songs exploring young love and heartbreak.
