Meet the Legendary Henry Lee Parrilla – November 16, 2024, at Del Bravo Record Shop!

For over six decades, Henry Lee Parrilla, affectionately known as "Little Henry Lee," has dazzled the music world as a keyboardist, vocalist, and musical visionary. Born and raised in San Antonio, Texas, Henry’s career took off when he formed Little Henry Lee & The Laveers at just 13, with several of their hits climbing the Billboard charts. His roots in San Antonio’s vibrant music scene are as deep as his lifelong dedication to musical excellence.

After his early success, Henry joined the iconic Sunny and the Sunliners from 1965 to 1971, where he contributed to classics like “Smile Now, Cry Later” and “The One Who’s Hurtin’ Is You.” As the band’s organist, co-arranger, and second vocalist, he helped create a string of memorable hits that continue to define Texas music. Henry’s talents have taken him around the globe to stages as grand as the Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland and performances for the British royal family in Scotland. Alongside these achievements, he served as the musical director and pianist for The Platters, leaving a lasting mark on an era of legendary music.

In 2008, Henry returned to his San Antonio roots and has since been captivating audiences with his timeless sound. Now, in 2024, he's coming full circle with a brand-new album recorded in the heart of the city at 45HQ Studios, a stone’s throw from the legendary "Patio Andaluz." This upcoming release on Cobra Records celebrates his enduring artistry and San Antonio’s rich musical heritage.
